Note participates and wins for the second time at the Quebec JazzFest
competition;
Blok Note performs at the Montreal's International Jazz Festival on the
prestigious Radio-Canada central stage.

The
band's popularity wins over big companies who hire Blok Note to host their
ceremonial galas, their convetions and their dance parties such as the
RCMP, Avon Canada, Fédération Desjardins, Kraft, Pfizer
to name but a few.

The New Year's Eve and St-Valentine's ballroom
evenings are radiocasted live.
1995
Blok Note headlines at the Montreal Cotton
Club for six months, performing alongside such reputed stars like Nanette
Workman and Patsy Gallant.
Blok Note participates for the first time and wins the Quebec JazzFest Big Band competition.
1989
First of six performances at the Montreal's
International Jazz Festival;
Blok Note starts their annual tours of various Club Med in the Caribbeans
and Mexico;
Blok Note was chosen to host the "Gala des Métrostars".
1988
Blok Note is the official dancing orchestra
for the "Do-Ré-Mi" club in Montreal.
1984
Mr. Jacques Gamelin takes over the band
as the musical director. His objective is to improve the performance level
and upgrade the repertoire. This is the begining of Blok Note Big Band.
1974
Mr. Gérard Robinson founded the orchestra.
His goal was to create an ensemble able to perform both concerts and dances.
